I’m not really one that draws superheroes very often, and Wolverine is one of those characters that’s been drawn by so many people you kinda feel like “what’s the point?” But fan art is always fun, and it’s good practice, so I felt like giving it a try, and in my preferred color scheme for the character. | Watercolor Pencils

Now, I’m not typically one to base my work on current pop culture, but Rogue One has managed to stick with me for almost a week now and since I haven’t been able to get back to theatre, a drawing was the next best thing I could do.
Been a while since I’ve posted anything… but this one took a while to do. I thought it would be cool to try to tell a story in a single poster illustration and I think I accomplished that, though the story is pretty abbreviated. It’s sort of a variation on sequential art story telling. This was a fun one all the way.
“Girl7”. Not much more to this character yet. She’s pretty much your basic space girl concept. It’s all been done before on this front. But still a fun exercise in drawing. Never hurts to work on vehicle design either.
A little Jack Kirby inspired Star Trek piece here… I’ve been watching “Enterprise” lately and have gained an appreciation for the NX-01. Had there been a season 5, this was the projected ship design. | Brush & Ink
I haven’t posted anything in a while, got a big project I’m about to start on, but wanted to do this tribute piece for a really cool historical figure, Chuck Yeager. I’m a fan of aviation, and this guy is near the top of it all! First man to break the sound barrier in level flight, not to mention all around tough guy test pilot who downed five enemy planes in one outting and ended his 34 year carrier a Brigadier General. He had, as they say, “The Right Stuff.” Carbon with color by wacom.
“Desert Discovery” No real plan for this one… just had the vision and wanted to draw a simple exploration piece. Gotta love the old FJ40 Land Cruisers.
Some more fan art here… Star Trek: The Away Mission. Kirk and company are pinned down under enemy fire on a strange and hostile planet. Wacom color over graphite on paper.
